Winter Cardinal Big Scallop Deco Shell

Each Retrowaves Deco Shell is a one-of-a-kind piece of functional art, hand-finished using shells gathered from the shores of the East Coast. This particularly large scallop clam shell was beachcombed in the Hamptons, Long Island.
 
Every shell is carefully cleaned, preserved, painted, and decoupaged by hand using collected paper and hand-picked imagery, then sealed with multiple layers of varnish—reimagining natural shells as lasting keepsakes.
 
Perfect as a key or jewelry dish, trinket holder, or a delicate accent for a desk, shelf, or nightstand.
